About me

My first introduction to cricket was by my Headteacher in year 5 at the age of 10 at Woodborough Woods Primary School.
I first started playing Kwik Cricket in 2010 at Calverton Cricket Club on Sunday mornings.
To further my opportunities at the age of 12 I moved clubs to play with Notts and Arnold Cricket Club (NAACC) based at Goosedale Sports Ground.  Under the coaching guidance of Andy Claye I joined a squad of young girls that were keen to play cricket, make friends and develop their skills.
During my time with NAACC I have trained and played regularly in the boys, girls and women’s teams gaining as much valuable experience possible. When I was 13 I made my debut for NAACC Saturday 5th team and am currently playing in the 4th’s.
I have proudly represented Nottinghamshire Girls at under 13’s, 15’s and am currently playing with the Under 17’s.
In 2016 in addition to NAACC I play with the Clifton Ladies organisation being coached by Andy Unwin, captained by both Amanda Bacon and Jane Smit. I have played for both the 1st and 2nd team.
For the past three years I have worked closely in the off season with my bowling coach Andy Pick (Nottinghamshire Men’s Bowling Coach) who has helped me tremendously.
During the off season I keep active and sharp by playing indoor cricket at the Bar Lane Community Sports Centre in Basford playing in a girls’ team in the men’s league. The team is made up of girls across Nottinghamshire.  I play at both British Open (Girls and Women’s level) and the Women’s National Indoor League.  I have been selected to the England U21 Women's World Cup Team that is playing in Dubai 12-24 September 2017.
